While I am loathe to make personal commentary in THIS space, I would like you to substitute words such as 'right wing extremist', 'birthers', 'tea baggers', 'unamerican' and 'hate-mongers' for some of the terms used in this definition. If you do not believe that this administration is setting conservatives up to the Jews of this generation, I would ask you to look again. Barack Obama's recently appointed Diversity Czar, Mark Lloyd, appears to be looking to wage a regulatory campaign to silence conservative voices on talk radio, cable TV and maybe even the Internet...in other words, an all out effort to stifle dissent of the Administration's radical agenda.
Diversity Czar Mark Lloyd, whose official job title is Associate General Counsel and Chief Diversity Officer of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), makes no secret of his desire to stamp out freedom of speech and the press. "It should be clear by now that my focus...is not freedom of speech or the press. This freedom is all to often an exaggeration. At the very least, blind references to freedom of speech or the press serve as a distraction from the critical examination of other communications policies."
This information came to me by way of CFIF.ORG (the Center for Individual Freedom). I ask you to look around on their website, but more than that, PAY ATTENTION to who our President has as advisers. While every president is allowed to have them, it's the number and scope of the ones in this administration that are concerning. KEEP INFORMED. STAY ALERT. We have every right to believe that our First Amendment rights could be usurped at any time.

A letter from US Department of Education Secretary Arne Duncan to ALL public school principals telling them about President Obama's address to US school students on Tuesday, September 8th. Please check with the principal of your child's school to find out if they are going to honor this in their school/classrooms. If you read the letter and then find the document that the teachers are to use to 'guide' children through his speech, I think you will not be amazed that I am questioning the legitimacy of this 'talk' and why I will just keep my kids home that day.
A NOTE: This morning (9/03) FOX has reported that the DEA is backpedaling on some of the questions in the ‘study guide’. Be sure and ask your schools principal and/or school board member whether your childs’ school will participating in this unprecedented event.

Senate Democrats Push Back Climate Measure Schedule (Update1)

Aug. 31 (Bloomberg) -- The chief Senate sponsors of a bill aimed at curbing global warming have pushed back its introduction from next week until later in September.
Democratic Senators Barbara Boxer of California and John Kerry of Massachusetts, in an e-mailed statement today, cited Kerry’s hip surgery this month, the death of Senator Edward Kennedy and the debate over health-care legislation as reasons for the delay.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, a Nevada Democrat, said in July that he wanted the committees with jurisdiction over the measure to complete their work by Sept. 28. Boxer, the chairwoman of the Environment and Public Works Committee, said earlier this month that she would introduce her plan next week so it could be approved by the committee before the end of September.
Boxer and Kerry “are working diligently to craft a well- balanced bill, and Senator Reid fully expects the Senate to have ample time to consider this comprehensive clean energy and climate legislation before the end of the year,” Jim Manley, a spokesman for Reid, said in an e-mailed statement today.
The House passed a cap-and-trade bill in June that would require power plants, factories, oil refineries and others to reduce emissions 17 percent below 2005 levels by 2020.
