The Edmond Working Group meets one night per month at 415 W 15th, which is between Broadway and Kelly. The building is named Plaza West and has an Allstate sign. You will need to enter the door on the east side of the building. The meeting is from 7:00 to 8:00 pm; the door opens at 6:30pm and there are light snacks offered.
We talk about activities and activism; what we can do as a group and individually-on a national level as well as locally. Different members volunteer to take segments of the meeting.
We have some tools available for a minimal fee such as books and DVD's. If you have anything in the way of tools people can use, please feel free to bring them to share. As you know, Glen Beck left us wide open for what we should do in these small groups; he wants us to educate ourselves.
The meeting agenda lasts for one hour and is broken down in four segments: 1)introductions, pledge and prayer; 2)state issues; 3)federal issues; 4)announcements and tools.
