ACORN, SEIU and CORRUPTION
----------------------------------------------------------------

Crime, Census and Censorship; Michelle Malkin weighs in on the census. Even though ACORN has been dropped from the census there are too many other problems lurking out there for the average American to take it with their eyes closed. For example; Inclusion of the massive illegal alien population has resulted in a radical redrawing of the electoral map.
http://www.onenewsnow.com/Perspectives/Default.aspx?id=716322

Planned Parenthood – or should we say Planned Abortionhood – needs to go down with ACORN. Very interesting article by Gary Bauer about how really awful PP is.
http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=33704

ACORN – AFTER it lost its federal funding mind you – just got a ONE MILLION dollar grant in Louisiana for firefighting!!! Yes, ACORN has had to put out a lot of fires lately, but there is nothing they do having to do with firefighting. Several other more deserving fire departments lost out to ACORN for the grant…
http://www.judicialwatch.org/blog/2009/oct/acorn-gets-1-million-homeland...

Okay, whose side is Michael Steele on anyway. One minute he’s all over ACORN for being ‘nefarious’ and then tells a group at a historically black college that he thinks that Bertha Louis is doing a “great job getting out in front of the issues”. What is the matter with these people anyway?

ARMED FORCES – MILITARY

An article about how Obama’s military solution for Afghanistan will be primarily based on what public opinion he wants to pacify…
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/oct/09/pruden-its-a-cruel-world...

Our troops have not been having as much fun as their president as they fight a war without assistance while he goes gallivanting around trying to get the Olympics to come to his home town.

EDUCATION:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
An article about how our SAFE SCHOOLS CZAR did nothing about a story a teenage boy told him about having sex with an older man…apparently statutory rape means nothing in his world – let alone homosexual statutory rape!
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/sep/28/at-the-presidents-pleasure/

53 Republican Congressmen ask for Kevin Jennings resignation. Let’s see if that happens. Of course, Barney Frank needs to tell us that this is because of anti-gay sentiment…wait…HUH? We’re supposed to LAUD this guy for setting up safe schools with gay teachers who are part of the Gay and Lesbian Independent School Teacher Network (GLISTeN)? Gee, that makes me feel like my kids are safe at school….
http://thehill.com/homenews/house/63387-53-house-republicans-call-for-sa...

Sorry to keep banging the homosexuals in schools mantra, but here is a fabulous little article about how California’s esteemed Governor, the Ahhhnold has decided to take school time on May 22 to remember slain gay activist (the thought of his death is what made Nancy Pelosi ‘tear up’ when confronted with the thought of rightwing extremist Town Hall government health care protestors) Harvey Milk on “Harvey Milk Day”. Quote from the article, “The designation of each May 22 as "Harvey Milk Day" encourages schools around the state to commemorate the murdered homosexual politician and activist” Not jokin’ here…

Great website
http://www.downsizinggovernment.org/

While liberals have been boasting that a majority of Americans want a government-run health care plan to be included in final legislation, a new Pew poll finds that just 56 percent of Americans even know that it has something vaguely to do with health care. As for the rest of the public, 11 percent thinks it has to do with either, banking regulation, unemployment, or energy policy -- and 33 percent wouldn't even wager a guess.

Go here and take the Pew News IQ Project Quiz before you read the report to find out how much YOU know.

ENERGY ISSUES:

Senator Linsay Graham’s Costly Collegiality:
Graham made clear in a Sunday New York Times op-ed written with Sen. John Kerry, D-MA, that he will support cap-and-trade if Democrats agree to expand nuclear power and off-shore oil and natural gas development. We must remove RINO’S like Lindsay Graham. Send this to everyone you know that might reside in the state of South Carolina!

This article from BBC news talks about Global Warming…oh, sorry, I mean, Global Cooling! The hottest recorded year was 1998 and since then we have either been the same, or cooling. As a Biologist, I have known – though I wasn’t taught this in college – that so many factors contribute to climate, that there has never been any way possible – even with the BEST computer models to determine what is happening on a GLOBAL basis. This is a really good article that talks about ALL aspects of climate. Very informative and gives you some ammunition with which to fight your Al Gore groupie friends!
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/8299079.stm

Congressional Budget Chief says Climate Bill will Cost Jobs; Apparently, while Mr. Obama got to Mr. Elmendorf concerning the Health Care reform budget numbers, he feels free YET to speak out on how the Cap and Trade bill will effect the floundering American economy. The CBO estimates that the House-passed climate legislation, a template for the Senate version, would reduce gross domestic product by up to 0.75% by 2020 and 3.5% by 2050. Well, thank goodness it’s only 3.5%!!! Please read.

Quite an interesting example of how statistics can be shown to say what you want them to say and not actually be a relevant tool for exploration of the problem you presumed in the first place! This article is called, “New Research on Spanking May Need a Time Out”. Short, sweet and interesting.
http://www.ncpa.org/sub/dpd/index.php?Article_ID=18561&utm_source=newsle...

In this article from World Net Daily, Cass Sunstein our new Regulatory Czar is variously quoted on his many interesting observations, such as; abortion is good because embryos are parasites that suck life off their host and early fetuses are just but a handful of cells. Also, how horses and dogs are more intelligent and intelligible than 1, 2, even 3 week old babies. Seriously. What is this world coming to? I feel like I’m in the twilight zone. I think the most interesting – okay, most hysterical – is his Bill of Rights. Awesome.

FREEDOM/TAXATION
---------------------------------------------------------------------
When Work Doesn’t Pay for the Middle Class. How did a middle-class single mom wind up with a 79% marginal tax rate? At $120,000 she would pay $16,500 a year more in federal and state taxes, wouldn't qualify for the five-year $12,000-a-year cut in her mortgage payments she's applying for and would be eligible for $19,000 a year less in need-based college financial aid.

An EXCELLENT essay by a man who really just takes the Constitution and compares it to Obamacare. This is definitely the article to send your non-committal, life isn’t all that horrible, I don’t see what the problem is friends…

No, we’re not Honduras…YET. If you don’t know what’s going on in Honduras, please read this and catch up. OUR ADMINISTRATION is helping to decimate Honduras’ constitution by reinstating a deposed dictator. Yeah, this is what we’ve got going on for us here in the US – we are governed by a DICTATOR-LOVER!

GUN CONTROL
---------------------------------------------------------------------
A video about current gun myths. Worth a watch if you have questions about things you seen come across email.
http://gunmyths.nationalgunrights.org/

Great place to keep up on national gun rights issues! It’s the National Gun Rights Bill Watch website!
http://nationalgunrights.org/billwatch.shtml

This is from the National Gun Rights Association, but it is a story of the last surviving member of the Warsaw uprising against the Nazi’s, Marek Edelman, who died at 90. What a fascinating story was his. Please take the few minutes to read the synopsis. VERY INSPIRING!
http://nationalgunrights.org/blog/?p=282

Oh, this is rich! Using the Second Amendment’s wording, Representative Fred Maslack of Virginia is proposing a bill requiring all unarmed Vermont citizens to pay $500 for the privilege of not owning a gun. He says that it’s not so much for any reason other than to make sure that Virginians do their part in the defense of Liberty! Gotta love that!

HEALTH CARE
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Interesting article about how state governors have more say over the health care issue than one would think because of the state funding issues in the bill like Medicare/Medicaid.
http://cfif.org/v/index.php/commentary/56-health-care/370-its-10-pm-do-y...

An article from Human Events written by a man who takes Ayn Rand’s “Atlas Shrugged” and applies the situation in her book to the most recent poll results showing that 45% of doctors would quit their jobs if Obamacare passes. Really a great read and if you haven’t read “Atlas Shrugged” it gives a verbatim excerpt that is really quite astounding in its astuteness!
http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=33937

Dick Morris talks about how much and what the fines are for not deciding to pay for and love health care as provided by the state. Really an excellent article that should be passed on and read so that you can have ammunition to thump idiots with.

An article from American Thinker that really sets the hammer on the nail head of liberal thinking – can you say ‘hypocrisy’ anyone?
http://www.americanthinker.com/2009/10/civil_rights_in_the_age_of_oba.html

Wow. Sadly, I guess I’m kind of surprised to hear Deputy Dog (aka Senator Joe Lieberman) push for gay rights legislation…Senator Lieberman (I-Connecticut) earlier this year introduced the Domestic Partner Benefits and Obligations Act of 2009 (S. 1102), which would extend spousal benefits to the same-sex partners of federal government employees.

FYI: he Captiol Preservation Commission is expected to decide in December where to place the Ten Commandments monument authorized by legislation approved in 2009
In January, two Texas men who were "married" in Massachusetts three years ago filed for divorce in Dallas. State District Judge Tena Callahan decided to proceed with the case and on Thursday ruled the Lone Star State's marriage amendment unconstitutional. She ruled that the state ban on same-sex "marriage" violates equal protection under the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Apparently, this is also happening in Oklahoma as a similar case is up for review by the Supreme Court. Fabulous…one to watch.

Washington Post reporter Juliet Eilperin is a Joke. This blogger talks about how this particular reporter has, like most reporters these days, gone completely off her nut about the environmental cause.

A must read from the website that brought you the ACORN takedown reporters. This is all about how ordinarily innocuous (we would think as parents) shows are putting in messages that point kids to liberal agenda websites all under the guise of being ‘helpful’. Truly disgusting and an absolute MUST READ if you’re a parent!

Does America trust the media? New poll confirms exactly what your gut feeling tells you! The SHU Polling Institute recently conducted its third survey on "Trust and Satisfaction with the National News Media." It's a national poll intended to answer the question of whether Americans trust the news media. In a nutshell, the answer is a resounding "No!" Pollsters asked which television news organizations people turned to most frequently. CBS News didn't even make the top five! Who did? Fox News was first by a wide margin of 28.4 percent. CNN was second, chosen by 14.9 percent. NBC News, ABC News, and "local news" followed, while CBS News lagged way behind with only 7.4 percent. A FUN, CONFIRMATORY read!

RACISM and OTHER UNFOUNDED ALLEGATIONS OF THE LEFT
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Rush Limbaugh, no stranger to controversy, has had a full frontal assault on his credibility made on him yet again by Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and an Hispanic reporter from CNN. Not unbelievable really except in the sense that 1) Who cares whether Rush owns part of the St. Louis Rams 2) How do reporters get away with actually knowingly lying on the air? A bit long, but if you haven’t been following the controversy, you might just peak in for a ‘catch-up’.
http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_101409/content/01125106.gues...

Comes under the category of COME ON!!!!! Limbaugh wanted to be a part of a group buying the St. Louis Rams only to come under fire by liberal owners and, of course, CNN news reporters.

Really cool article about how despite a large public outcry over a Georgia school board’s decision to censor Bible verse banners held by high school football cheerleaders on the playing field, the controversial policy has compelled many students to passionately defend their free-speech rights and proclaim their Christian beliefs.

Wasn’t sure where to put this article titled The Great Swine Flu Boondoggle. Really a very comprehensive article that made sense of what a lot of us have thought about this whole Swine Flu and vaccination business. Not quite as fun, however, as the interview that Hannity did with two liberal airheads protesting at the G20 summit in Pittsburg that happens to be on the same page. I swear if I were those girls parents I would peel their eyes open with toothpicks and make them watch hours of Hannity at a time for days!

"The republican principle demands that the deliberate sense of the community should govern the conduct of those to whom they intrust the management of their affairs; but it does not require an unqualified complaisance to every sudden breeze of passion or to every transient impulse which the people may receive from the arts of men, who flatter their prejudices to betray their interests." --Alexander Hamilton, Federalist No. 71, 1788
