At the OKC912Project, we consider education to be our primary function. No matter the President, or the political make-up of Congress or the Senate - whether at the State or Federal level - we as citizens of this country have learned nothing by the election of Barack Obama to the Presidency of the United States if we have not learned to STAY INFORMED and KNOWLEDGEABLE about the workings of our government.
We in the Leadership of the OKC912Project understand that our job - simply as citizens of this country - is to stay active and informed because we know that every ELECTED official works for us. We solemnly vow that WE WILL NEVER SLEEP ON THE JOB AGAIN, NOR WILL WE LET YOU!
On the pages of this website you will find news articles and action alerts that will provide you up to date ways of becoming educated in a large variety of issues that affect you as a US Citizen. Some items will require you to make a phone call or draft an email or hand written letter. Some might even ask you to make yourself available for a protest our counter-protest. Most items will simply educate, but they can only do that if you READ them.
Please, if you ever have a specific item upon which you wish to be educated (a bill, a law, a politician, etc.) do not hesitate to email me and I will look into it as soon as I possibly can.
