I am trying to start a online group for the purpose of impeaching Congressmen that fail to uphold the U.S. Constitution. One problem I need help with the web design. If anyone is interested in volunteering please contact me. I would also appreciate any suggestions regarding the group. See group description below.
Guardians of the Constitution
We cannot afford to wait till the 2010 elections to restore the Constitution. Every day our freedoms & the financial futures of our children are being destroyed. Every member of the U.S. House and U.S. Senate is required to take an oath of office. This oath includes a promise to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America. Many states have laws that allow the recall or impeachment of officials that fail to uphold their oath of office. “Guardians of the Constitution” seeks to hold elected officials to their oaths through efforts of the national organization and state groups.
The national organization will include a panel of Constitutional Experts to serve as a watchdog group. They will report on the Constitutionality of purposed laws and actions of the Federal Government.
Members of the state groups will research state laws pertaining to the removal of those failing to meet their sworn duty. Members of state groups will monitor if their legislators are preserving the constitution by their actions or in-actions. Members will take steps necessary to initiate the immediate lawful removal of those officials.
These efforts will not only serve to remove bad officials but allow laws to be enacted which will limit the power of Czars, Agencies & even the President. It will also support efforts to repeal unconstitutional laws.
